Big thanks to J & A transmission shop I found myself stranded away from home in a small part of Texas, Midland to be exact and J & A Transmission shop put me back on the road.. Alex and Bree Kept me posted with everything and gave me back my Yukon in timely manner.. J&A Transmission did a complete rebuild and some extra adjustments needed it for my Yukon to be A1... Prices were the best compared to the competition charging double the price for the same type of business.

They were great. I highly recommend them. I will definitely use them again if I have issues in the future. They stayed in touch with me through step of the process. Great communication and service. My truck runs like it’s brand new again. Thank you again!!!!!

Had my transmission replaced right under a year ago by this shop. First transmission lasted 2 days and I had to take my truck back. They kept my truck another week to put the second transmission in. Both times they cut my exhaust and left it leaking on the second try. I ignored that and was just happy to be back on the road. Here we are 10 days before the year and transmission is completely out again and they won't do anything for me. To be fair I'm at 18,000 miles on this "rebuilt" 4l60E transmission and their warranty I'm told is 12,000 mi or 1 year. A 4L60E transmission should easily last 100,000 mi even rebuilt you would think. Bottom line, DO NOT take your vehicle here for repairs. Spend the little extra money and goto a real transmission shop. Not a salvage yard shop.

Honestly, This has been the best shop to go to. I’ve had transmission issues with my truck for the past 6 months. Took it to several places told them what it was doing and they would say it was another issue costing me more money out of pocket. When I took it to A & J transmission Alex was so helpful. They took in my truck by 8am by 5pm my truck was ready to drive. Had I not gone to speak to Alex my truck would had still been sitting parked long. They are the most humble, family oriented, respectful, helpful people with the knowledge of vehicles. Hands down I will take all my vehicles to them from now on. They have all my respect. I highly appreciate Alex and I’m so thankful to him. I recommend every to take your vehicle in no matter what issue your having with it. They can get the job done. They are on top of every vehicle so that we are not left without our vehicles. Thank you so much I’m so appreciative to you Alex and your great knowledgeable team of mechanics.
